Hotel Description

Oualie Beach Resort (pronounced o-wally) is truly one of the most charming hotels on Nevis. Not only is the hotel beautiful, but the grounds, beach, rooms, and views are equally wonderful. Located on one of the most tranquil bays on Nevis, Oualie Beach Resort Hotel sits on a sugary sand beach complete with some of the most beautiful floral landscaping on Nevis.

The rooms are spaciously scattered along the beach in single and two storey Gingerbread Cottages that reflect the traditional Caribbean style architecture of the Island. All rooms have large, cool screened verandas offering uninterrupted views of the beach and neighboring island of St Kitts.

While Oualie Beach Resort is truly beautiful, its charms do not stop there. If you enjoy water sports, then this is the place to be. Whether it is SCUBA, sailing, windsurfing, sport fishing, or just a relaxing swim, Oualie Beach Resort has it all. In fact most of the other hotels on Nevis tend to send their guests to them for the water sports. Lunch at Oualie is a must, West Indian, seafood, and continental dishes all cooked to perfection by the chef.

The Oualie bar is quite unique in that it appeals both to locals and tourists resulting in a fun, eclectic gathering. Live entertainments three nights a week, Tuesday nights is an amazing evening! BBQ surf & turf or lobster on the menu but more importantly is the Oualie Beach Boys Band night. This is an eclectic bunch made up of local residents, staff and guests with musical talent and every week is different and fascinating.

Oualie Beach Resort is still the only tourism product on St Kitts and Nevis ever to be green globe certified, hence their commitment to sustainable tourism practices which ranges from electricity and water saving techniques to community development.
